It was well-run and the staff treated all the Cashion visitors like royalty,” said Cashion Superintendent Sammy Jackson. Fireworks were planned for after the ceremony, but with some of the civil unrest taking place, those plans had to be nixed. “We hated the city canceled the fireworks after the ceremony, but understand that decision with the circumstances at that time,” Jackson said. “We feel blessed to have been able to allow our students a prom as well as a graduation.
