Several state dignitaries were on hand last Friday as J.D. Vance, center, the Republican nominee for vice president, was the featured guest at a private fundraiser in Oklahoma City. More than $2 million was raised for the Republican ticket - headlined by former President Donald Trump - at the event, according to Gov. Kevin Stitt in multiple reports. Among those at the fundraiser were Kingfisher’s Nellie and Mike Sanders. Nellie Sanders is the state secretary of education. Mike Sanders is executive director of the Oklahoma Broadband Office. Among those joining Stitt and the Sanders were Sen. James Lankford, Sen. Markwayne Mullin, Rep. Stephanie Bice, Rep. Kevin Hern, Rep. Josh Brecheen and Attorney General Gentner Drummond.
