BASKETBALL (AND NEWSPAPER) FANS — They might not have liked the result on the scoreboard, but these Okarche Elementary School students were able to get in some good reading Friday at State Fair Arena. Cheering on the Lady Warriors during the Class A semifinals were, from left, Jag Mueggenborg, Sutton Terrell, Chase Parham and Lane Jacobs. Parham is a third grader and the other three are fourth graders. They chose to occupy themselves with the Kingfisher Times & Free Press – and some of its great advertising – during the introductions of the starting lineups for Hydro-Eakly. Okarche defeated Garber in Thursday's quarterfinal (see Page 7), but dropped Friday's games to the Lady Bobcats. Their season ended with a 26-4 record. [KT&FP Staff Photo]
