Read moreMeet the Jackets returned at Kingfisher High School last Thursday night. The annual event is sponsored by Kingfisher All-Sports. The 2020 event wasn’t staged due to COVID-19 and last year’s had to be called off due to weather. This year’s event was held at the school’s track complex. In addition to members of all of Kingfisher’s athletics teams being introduced, those in attendance were also introduced to the band and cheerleaders. Homemade ice cream was also served. A new twist this year was water balloon “fights” between the different KHS classes. The winner eventually took on members of the KHS staff in a final showdown.
