Read morePRESENT HONORS THE PAST – Current Kingfisher Rotary Club President Jeff Hyatt, left, recently presented Jason Harris, right, with a plaque of appreciation for his work as president for the 2022-23 year, which ended in July. Harris is executive director of Chisholm Trail Museum in Kingfisher and has been out of town on Tuesdays (meeting days for the local service club) since his term ended on work-related trips on behalf of the Oklahoma Historical Society, so Hyatt went to the museum to make the presentation last week. Read moreDover FFA chapter participated in the Exposition for the Youth of Oklahoma Stock Show, which also coincided with portions of the State Fair of Oklahoma. Kylee Bell, Colton Burns and Cole Holdridge all returned home with successful accomplishments. Bell was named the Intermediate Sheep Showman along with placing second in both the Speckle Face wether lambs and Southdown wether lamb divisions. Burns exhibited the breed champion wether lamb as well as the second place commercial ewe. Holdridge placed three times.
